Mary Price developed a love of caftans as a child growing up in Hawaii. As a former designer and buyer for luxury brands, she was doing work she enjoyed, but had grown weary of the fashion industry and its tremendous waste. She decided to pursue a path of purpose and began creating her own caftan designs. After a trip to a warehouse filled with unused fabric, a better way became clear and Ocean & Main was born. This fierce founder’s designs are created in Los Angeles in limited quantities and made only from repurposed fabric. Zero water is used in the production of garments and no single-use plastic is used in production or shipping. Products are shipped in reusable bags and all shipping materials are 40 percent post-consumer recycled and 100 percent recyclable.
