Elizabeth Giannussi’s relationship with food took an unexpected turn after being diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune condition. It inspired her take a closer look at the foods she was eating. As a result, she switched to a plant-based diet free from processed and artificial ingredients. Her sister Abby decided to join her in eating clean, but they both found themselves longing for the foods that were off limits–like cookies, brownies and muffins. The pair got busy creating their own plant-based bite-sized snacks in flavors like cookie dough, dark chocolate brownie and lemon poppyseed. The fierce founders launched Siren Foods to share their tasty recipes with the world. The sweet treats are good for humans and good for the planet, plus no animals are harmed in the making of Siren Snacks.
