This month’s finalists are Monique Hudson and Monica Semley of Coffee and Cornbread, Barb Owen-Boerger of Sand Bay Jewelry, Cynthia Alberto of Weaving Hand, and Charlene Izere of Melanin and Money. Based on community votes, one of these businesses will receive a micro grant.

Cynthia Alberto, Weaving Hand

Weaving Hand is a weaving studio and healing arts center offering programs for adults and children, including those with intellectual, emotional and physical disabilities.

Charlene Izere, Melanin and Money

Melanin and Money is a comprehensive hub that supports entrepreneurial-minded Black womxn by providing tools and guidance to help them succeed.
